Sao Paulo. Die brasilianische Polizei hat einen Anschlag von mutmaßlichen Neonazis auf mindestens zwei Synagogen in Porto Alegre im Süden des Landes vereitelt. Naziliteratur, Messer und drei Sprengsätze seien beschlagnahmt worden, erklärte Polizeisprecher Paulo Cesar Jardim. 14 Männer seien vorübergehend festgenommen worden. Es werde geprüft, ob die Gruppe Verbindungen ins Ausland habe. (AP/jW)
